Meet Johanna Gonzales

I know how much invisible work teaching requires.

I’m Johanna Gonzales—a retired elementary educator creating the kind of practical, thoughtful support I always wished I had waiting for me.

I spent more than 15 years serving students and teachers across three Texas public school districts. During my career, I taught Pre-K, second grade, fifth-grade ELA, fifth-grade dual language, and sixth-grade math. I later served as a campus interventionist at both a K–5 elementary school and a fifth- and sixth-grade intermediate school.

My professional journey began with a bachelor’s degree in financial management, but my heart eventually led me to education. After earning my master’s degree in education, I began the career that would become one of the most meaningful parts of my life.

Today, I am the founder, owner, and creator of Education Wonders by Johanna Gonzales. I create engaging, ready-to-use reading resources for busy teachers in grades 3–5. Through my website, Teachers Pay Teachers store, and Education Wonders Reading Success Box, I help teachers give their students meaningful skill practice—without adding hours of preparation to their already-full schedules.

As a new school year begins, I would love the opportunity to support you and your students. Classroom teaching takes a village, and when educators help one another, students grow, confidence builds, and achievement soars.
