Duration: 25 minutes
Activity:
Read two short texts on the same topic (e.g., two articles about penguins, two versions of a folktale)
Create a Venn diagram on the board
Model identifying similarities and differences
Students complete their own Venn diagram comparing the texts
Discuss which text was more informative/interesting and why
Assessment: Students write 3-4 sentences explaining how the texts are similar and different
